AC Milan defeated Parma 2-1 at San Siro and is now sharing third place, if only momentarily, with Lazio

The Rossoneri have made a terrific comeback from a slow start to the 2012-2013 season and are currently undefeated in the calendar year. Parma, on the other hand, continues suffering from one of the worst current streaks in the Serie A, having only lost and tied in the past couple of games.

But the reality is that Milan had a slow start in the match, as it has happened in the last couple of games. Parma dominated the game for the first half an hour and it came much closer to opening the score.

But in the 39th minute A terrible mix-up in the Parma defense made Gabriel Paletta poke Prince-Boateng's cross and score and own goal to open the score in favor of the locals 1-0 just before halftime.

The second half saw a much better Milan, and in a free kick conceded by Paletta (again), Mario Balotelli (78') scored the partial 2-0 win for the locals and his fourth goal in the three games he's defended the Rossoneri colors.

Nicola Sansone (90+2) would score a last minute discount for Parma, and leave the final score 2-1.

With this result, AC Milan confirms its improved form, and hints at a rebirth of longtime Rossoneri fan, Mario Balotelli.
