After two months of regular results away from home, Atletico de Madrid recorded a 0-3 win against Valladolid while visiting the Jose Zorrilla.
The team from Madrid jumped on to the pitch with the idea of shaking off the loss against Rubin Kazan for Europa league and the series of regular results it had been generating in Liga games.
Atletico's forward attitude yielded an early first goal that came from a prepared play in a free kick. Radamel Falcao (10') found a rebound and would successfully finalize the play to bring Aleti to a 0-1 win. This was the Colombian striker's 20th goal in La Liga.
The 0-2 came in the second half, courtesy of Diego Costa (53') with a right footed strike after a headed assist from Koke.
The final 0-3 came from Cristian Rodriguez (90') who had come in just minutes earlier. Javier Baraja threw a deep cross and the Uruguay international finished it off with the third goal for Madrid.
With this win, Atletico remains twelve points away from Barcelona and maintain its second place in the table.
