In a meeting of old-time rivals, Brazil and Italy tied, 2-2, in a friendly match at the Stade de Geneve in Switzerland Thursday.

Things were looking up for the Brazilians as they ended the first half with the score 2-0 in their favor. The first came from Fred (33') with a right footed shot from the right side of the six yard box to the bottom right corner, followed nine minutes later with a cross from Neymar that Oscar (42') would finalize with right-foot shot from the center of the box to the bottom right corner.

But the Italians would bounce back with an early second half goal from Daniele De Rossi (52') after a cross from Riccardo Montolivo following a corner kick. Mario Balotelli would then score the equalizing goal with a right-foot shot from outside the box to the top right corner, out of Julio Cesar's reach.
